This is a facilitated group retreat, not psychotherapy or medical treatment. Participation in exercises is optional. Before you book, you will receive the room details, payment schedule and cancellation terms in writing.
1. Who offers this retreat
You Belong Here is offered by Balkan Mama Therapy, LLC and led by Selma Baćevac. These terms cover the North Carolina retreat on April 8–11, 2027 and use of this retreat website. Other retreats and services have their own booking terms.
For booking, accessibility, policy or website questions, email hello@balkanmamatherapy.com. This address is for business enquiries and is not an emergency or crisis service. We do not require you to share a trauma history to ask a practical question.
2. Enquiring and booking
The retreat is for adult women aged 18 and over. Completing the enquiry form or attending the free 30-minute conversation does not reserve a room, create a payment obligation or guarantee an invitation. Your place is confirmed after the invitation, your acceptance of the booking terms, receipt of the deposit and our written booking confirmation.
Please review the room arrangement, included services and Refund & cancellation policy before paying. The shared option includes one king-size bed for two women; it does not mean two separate beds. Travel to and from the villa is your responsibility and is not included in the retreat price.
3. The scope of the experience
The program includes educational and experiential group work, paired exercises, somatic practices, gentle breathwork, optional movement outdoors and time for conversation and rest. Selma’s professional credentials do not make this retreat an individual treatment service. Visiting this site, sending an enquiry or attending the retreat does not by itself establish a therapist–client relationship.
The retreat does not provide diagnosis, medical care, crisis treatment, private psychotherapy sessions or continuing clinical care after the weekend. It does not replace care you already receive, and participation is not a reason to stop prescribed treatment. We do not promise relief from symptoms, recovery from burnout, a particular relationship outcome or any other specific result.
Family constellation exercises are used for reflection on how you experience family roles and relationships. They do not establish facts about another person, recover verified memories or prove events in your family’s history. Experiences and testimonials shared on this website describe individual experiences, not results every participant will have.
4. Choice, access and participation
You may observe, pause, decline an exercise or ask for an alternative without explaining your personal history to the group. Consent to attend is not consent to touch, physical assistance, an exercise, photography or disclosure. Any touch or physical assistance requires your permission at the time.
Let us know before booking about access needs, dietary requirements or practical limitations that affect your stay, so we can discuss what can and cannot be accommodated. Outdoor routes depend on conditions and accessibility; you may rest at the villa instead. Tell the facilitator if an activity causes pain, dizziness or distress, and stop or step away when you need to.
Group work can bring up difficult feelings, and walking outdoors carries ordinary risks such as uneven ground and changing weather. We discuss participation choices rather than requiring you to push through discomfort. If you need individualized medical guidance about an activity, obtain it from a qualified professional who knows your situation.
5. Respect and group confidentiality
Participants are expected to respect one another’s boundaries, avoid harassment or discrimination, and keep other women’s names, stories and personal details out of conversations outside the group. Do not record a session, take screenshots of a group call or post identifiable information about another participant without her express permission. You are free to speak about your own experience in ways that do not identify others.
We ask everyone to honor confidentiality, but we cannot guarantee another participant’s behavior or promise absolute confidentiality. Information may also need to be disclosed where law requires it or to respond to a serious safety concern. We will discuss the group agreements and their limits before personal sharing begins.
Concerns can be brought directly to Selma. We will address harmful conduct and may pause an activity or participation when needed to protect the group, with an explanation and an opportunity to discuss what happens next where circumstances allow. A concern or disagreement does not automatically result in forfeiting all payments; any booking remedy remains subject to the agreed terms and applicable law.
6. Photos, stories and staying in touch
Attending does not give us permission to use your image, voice, name or personal story in marketing. We will ask separately for permission for identifiable promotional material, and you may decline without losing your place in the retreat. Contact us about withdrawing permission for future use; we will explain what can be removed from channels we control and any limits involving material already distributed.
Exchanging contact details with other participants is voluntary. An ongoing facilitated group or private follow-up service is not included. Please obtain permission before adding another woman to a group chat or sharing her contact information.
7. Website content and outside services
You may read and use the website information for your personal decision about the retreat. Please obtain permission before reproducing our original photographs, written materials or program content for commercial use, except where the law allows that use. Other people’s trademarks and content remain theirs.
The website uses outside services for enquiries and reviews, and may link to booking, payment or other websites. Their own terms and privacy information apply to their services, alongside our responsibilities for information we receive. See our Privacy notice for details.
8. Changes, concerns and your rights
We will correct website errors and communicate material booking changes directly to affected participants. A website update does not retroactively replace the terms of a confirmed booking without your agreement. Please contact us if a confirmation and this page appear inconsistent, so we can resolve the issue before you make another payment.
These terms do not waive liability for conduct that cannot lawfully be excluded or restrict mandatory consumer rights. They do not require you to waive the right to raise a concern, report misconduct or seek a legal remedy. If a provision cannot be enforced, that does not by itself invalidate the remaining provisions.
